High Protein Tuna Smash Toast

If you’ve been on a journey of trying to love beans, this toasted sandwich is one you’ll have to try.
Not only is it packed with protein and fiber, it’s full of the omega-3s (both ALA and EPA/DHA) that help with brain health and metabolic health.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 5 oz can tuna
  • ½ can or 3/4c white beans I use cannellini
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 slices Seedtastic bread Aldi
  • OPT: lettuce dill, pepper, pickles

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mash the white beans with the can of tuna, lemon, and olive oil to your preferred consistency
  2. Place over toasted bread
  3. Enjoy with additional toppings as desired
